The last one went so well and by popular demand, we are doing the 101 class again. If you missed the last one or were one of the many who didn’t make it in the door this is for you. There will be a few new things we will be going over but just like the last one, it's all the basic stuff.
This class will go over a few basic ties, rope safety, and what gear you should have in your rope bag to start with. Some of the ties we will be going over are simple but have the fundamentals to help in all parts of rope play. These ties will help you to improve your rope handling and technique. They will also help with placement and tension of lines to make for a more stable harness. These moves are purposely simple but repetitive to help you learn control of the rope. Lastly, we will be touching on the basics by going over terminology and simple knots. Bring your partner. This class is all hands-on learning and therefore requires someone for you to tie.
The Las Vegas Rope Social would like to invite all to this and other classes we are hosting in the hopes of furthering community education as well as unity. Knowledge is something we feel should be shared with everyone. It can only improve the world we live in.
Cost: $5 per person to attend. This is now a mandatory charge for everyone attending. Any more donations are highly encouraged and appreciated to help cover the cost of the space, equipment and any future educators we may try to bring out.
What to bring:
— Rope. (Some will be provided if you do not have any)
