The Japan America Society of Nevada brings together the powerful and accelerating energy of two visiting Taiko groups from Japan: Nobushi and Koul with special appearances from local performers.
Each one has a very distinctive style within the traditional drum music.

Nobushi (Independent Samurai) transpires their battlefield on to the world stage with a main Samurai theme, changing “Swords to the Drum Stick”.

Koul's name is derived from a special language in Buddhism — Their full name is: Akune Bushamondaiko Koul. Its sound will resonate all over the world! The group's leader is a Karate champion from Kagoshima so look for many of the artistic and visual karate movements and form incorporated into their performance.

Tickets are $11 in advance or $13 the day of the show.
