Grief and bereavement can affect us physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Dr. Whitney Owens is a licensed psychologist and certified yoga instructor, Dr. Robyn Donaldson, licensed psychologist and founder of the Solace Club and Megan Hable, certified yoga instructor have created this series of Yoga for Grief classes by curating yoga techniques to help cope with and move through grief, allowing those who have experienced loss to move towards healing and peace.
During this particular yoga class, you will be guided through an hour-long gentle vinyasa practice. There will also be time to share experiences with other participants. The class will conclude with a guided meditation. Woven throughout will be the use of essential oils to enhance the benefits of the yoga postures and meditation practice. This class/workshop is accessible to anyone, even if you've never done yoga. The room will be unheated, but please wear comfortable workout clothes and bring a mat, towel and water.
This is class is by donation, proceeds will be donated to Adam's Place, a local Las Vegas charity that provides grief support groups for children, teens and families.
